Q. My company is a small firm. Can we submit an application to become a CBL
partner?
A. Yes. CBL partners represent a cross section of the channel community. Our partners
range from single site, sole proprietors to publicly traded multinationals. Complete and

Q. What is my discount/commission?
A. Your discount/commission structure is set according to the terms agreed upon. Please

Q. I don't want my customers to know that I am using a sub-contractor for data
recovery. Is this feasible?
A. CBL can deal directly with partners or their customers. CBL can structure an arrangement
whereby all contact with your customer, whether written or verbal, is conducted under your
company's name.
Q. Will my customer's information remain confidential?
A. Yes, information remains confidential. The integrity of CBL's business depends on the trust of our customers which include members of the financial services and justice communities, as well as the conduct of our employees. All CBL employees are bound by a non-disclosure agreement. All CBL facilities have multiple
physical security features including alarm and closed circuit television (CCTV) systems which
are monitored 24 x 7, 365 days a year.
Q. How do partners submit a job for a quote?
A.
The process of submitting a job is simple. Partners may
submit a job online or call a CBL
Data Recovery facility. Please refer to

Q. How do I track a customer's job?
A. As a CBL partner, you have access to CBL’s online tool to log and track your customers’ jobs
which are individually identified by a unique Project ID number. Partners can access
current updates on the status of any submitted jobs as well as review historical data on past
projects contained in the database. Partners can integrate the tracking system with their
RMA tracking system for seamless operation.
Q. Data recovery sounds complicated. Is it?
A. CBL employs proprietary techniques to retrieve data quickly and effectively from a wide
array of affected media for customers ranging from large enterprises to home users.
Through ongoing R&D efforts, CBL constantly improves and expedites the manner in which
data recovery is conducted in its Class 100 clean rooms.
Q. What happens to the failed HDD or tape?
A. Customers may elect to have their media destroyed or returned.
Q. Will a CBL representative visit my client's site, if requested?
A. Yes. Onsite services are available at an additional charge. Please

Q. What do you mean by “No data, No charge”?
A. If the specified target data is not recovered, CBL does not invoice its DRA partner.

Q. How long does the recovery of data take?
A. Evaluation of your customer’s storage media and data takes approximately 6 hours. Data
recovery varies according to the media, the degree of difficulty with the media and any
problems associated with the physical recovery of the data performed in CBL’s Class 100
clean rooms.
Q. Can CBL recover photographs from digital cameras?
A. Yes. CBL recovers digital photographs from the flash cards and memory sticks of cameras. We have successfully recovered this type of data for both amateur and professional photographers around the globe.
